Gurren Lagann Core Drill
thingiverse
Hi everyone! Today I'm excited to share with you my old project, a core drill that marked the beginning of my journey in Fusion360 and 3D printing. You can use it as a unique cosplay accessory or a stylish necklace. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Up! Printer: Up Mini Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1-0.2 Infill: 20%-100% Notes: This project showcases my experimentation with three machines - the HORI mini, HORI GOLD, and UP printers. I recommend choosing parameters based on your specific case, but a good starting point is PLA filament, 100% infill, and top resolution on your machine, using supports. Post-Printing: For post-printing, you can use standard methods involving d-limonene for PLA filaments. First, perform some mechanical work to remove all support material. Then, use abrasive material to improve the connection between parts. Be cautious when handling the model's face side in this process. Next, apply glue and assemble the two parts together.
