The Guren Mk-I is a prototype Knightmare Frame created by Indian engineer Rakshata Chawla within India's Militarized Zone. It predates the Guren Mk-II that the Black Knights deployed in Japan. One of the Guren Mk-I models was reworked into the Byakuen and handed over to Orpheus Zevon, a member of Peace Mark. Like other Knightmares built by Rakshata, the Guren Mk-I boasts an unconventional pilot's seat shaped like a motorcycle saddle, along with a helmet-like protrusion surrounding its retractable head. A captured unit was piloted by Britannian knight Dasko la Clermont until it was defeated in battle by the Byakuen.
