Hello, My name is Gurbinder Singh, and I'm a junior technical assistant with a passion for innovation. Recently, I acquired an electronic lunch box from Milton company, but unfortunately, it suffered a mishap when the left-hand lock was accidentally broken while packing my meal. Without this critical component, the lunch box failed to close properly, rendering it useless. Determined to find a solution, I took matters into my own hands and decided to create a replacement. To do this, I carefully scanned the intact right-hand lock using a 3D scanner and exported the data in STL format. Next, I utilized the printer software to slice the design and generate G-code for printing. After successfully printing the new lock, I meticulously installed it on my lunch box, ensuring a perfect fit. Thanks to this DIY project, my electronic lunch box is now functioning flawlessly once again. This experience has given me valuable insights into problem-solving and resourcefulness.
