I'm really drawn to a classic gunny sack feel. I experimented with different textures but ended up loving the sleek one best. Part of the reason is that Slic3r 0.9.7 has made some significant improvements, and the surface is just flawless. I was also hoping that printing with nylon would make it flexible enough so I could open the top, but that didn't quite work out as planned. I'm going to have to try a smooth one with a single perimeter next time around. SplatBag was an earlier version that I still think might be my favorite. I just added another "splatbag" that's larger and smoother than the small, unsmooth one - hope you enjoy it! 12/2/12 - I've just uploaded another splatbag that's bigger and smoother than the small, unsmooth one. 1/26/13 - You can now buy this design at the 3DEA/Openhouse Gallery in NYC, along with some of my other designs and lots more cool stuff from others!
