I've spent hours crafting this Gundam model, wrestling with numerous low-poly models that had me at my wit's end. Every last one I found was marred by glaring issues, but through sheer determination, I managed to combine them into a Sazabi that finally looks worthy of its name. To get it just right, I also had to tweak some of the armor pieces to ensure they were scaled perfectly. This was my maiden voyage with UV mapping, and I can see why it's earned such a reputation for being a challenging process. The more I worked on this model, the more I realized that mastering UV mapping is just the beginning – there are countless other complexities waiting in the wings.
