EDIT 2 - Added yellow half-star piece to the front of the hip as intended. EDIT 1 - Updated the right arm joint to fit inside the model properly. Picked up where I left off, diving headfirst into hands-on experience with various 3D modeling software. Figured it made sense to start by working with existing objects. Caught wind of those Gunpla modeling kits and noticed someone shared an RX 78-2 model online. Decided to throw that model into MeshMixer and recreate the famous final shot scene. Important note: This model was simply cut apart and rearranged in MeshMixer without refining contact areas, so be prepared for some extra work with cutting, sanding, or filling areas with filler or hot glue. However, this should give you more freedom to adjust the pose into something you prefer.
