I'm just a starting point for a printable helmet design, still in development. Combining each part into a solid model is proving to be quite the challenge. Maybe another person will have better luck than me. The file originated from SketchUp and was then converted into .STL format using MeshMixer. Overview and Background Base Model My main issue right now is making this design printable. I've been trying to create a solid model, but the edges are incredibly choppy or Blender/MeshMixer crashes when I attempt it. Lesson Plan and Activity Hopefully someone else will be able to make some progress where I'm stuck.
