Gun wall hook with Colt logo, two files available: inset or outset logo. Print two hooks before mounting to ensure accurate spacing between them. Then, make sure they are level. Mounting the hooks to wall studs will improve their sturdiness. Use two small screws to mount each hook securely to the wall. To protect your gun's finish, line the inside of the hook with 1" foam rubber weatherstrip tape. This design is a first attempt at something useful, but it is not perfect and functional. The screw holes are slightly tight for wood screws, but they worked out for me. Enlarging the print by 1-2% would help. Always seek training and understand gun safety before handling any gun. Never use a loaded gun to assist with installation. Be safe. Never hang a loaded gun on the wall. Make sure guns are inaccessible to children or untrained people.
