Gun holster support for Ford F-150 using a regular 5.11 holster

Hello! =)\r\n\r\nI created a custom support for a 5.11 holster to fit perfectly within the space below the central console of my Ford F-150. Instead of using extra cup holders, I designed this innovative support to keep my gun in a secure spot while allowing me to easily access it while driving.\r\n\r\nMy goal was to maintain a safe distance between the gun and myself, making it possible to reach for my firearm without having to lean over or stretch. By positioning the holster slightly higher and closer, I can simply extend my arm to retrieve my gun, ensuring quick and convenient access in emergency situations.\r\n\r\nThe holster itself is a 5.11 belt holster equipped with a built-in safety mechanism that allows me to release the gun securely. This feature provides an added layer of protection and peace of mind while driving.\r\n\r\nImportant note: Before attempting to replicate this project, please be aware of local laws regarding weapon carriage in vehicles. In many areas, carrying guns in specific ways is strictly prohibited. Always check your local regulations before proceeding and ensure you have the necessary permits to carry firearms like this.\r\n\r\nThe entire project was divided into three distinct parts, allowing for easy customization if you're using a different holster model. I've uploaded each part separately, so feel free to modify one or more sections to suit your specific needs.\r\n\r\nMy initial print was completed with PLA, but I soon realized its limitations in sunny conditions. To address this issue, I'm now printing an additional version using ABS, which appears to be working out well despite some minor printing challenges. The final product was coated with acrylic spray paint, giving it a sleek and durable black finish.\r\n\r\nStay safe!
