My brother was enrolled in an online programming course where he learned step by step how to create a game similar to Space Invaders. Meanwhile, I chose to surprise him with a custom ship asset that would bring back fond memories of our childhood fascination with Kingdom Hearts. Growing up under the spell of this beloved franchise had left me feeling nostalgic and I knew my brother felt exactly the same way about it. So, I decided to put together a quick project within the 30 minutes or so that he spent listening to his lesson.
