Gulpin pokemon coasters (pair)
pinshape
Gulpin drinkcoasters. This download contains two drinkcoasters, a negative and positive one. If you print it as a drinkcoaster, I recommend printing the negative one. It provides more stability for your glass or cup. Use these coasters to place your favorite drink. If you have printed it, don't hesitate to show off your skills and upload a picture. This is a standard-size coaster (100 by 100 by 5 mm), designed to fit in my coaster holder: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3130397 I printed this model using Fillamentum luminous green PLA with a layer height of 0.25mm and 18% infill. I used a 0.4mm nozzle with my extruder set at 210 degrees Celsius. A heated bed was also used to prevent curling up at the bottom. To avoid issues, I used a brim. Design Steps: I picked a logo from my browser and converted it into an SVG file in InkScape (see video*). Opened the SVG file in Blender and created a 3D object. In MeshMixer, I repaired the file using the 'Inspector' button under the 'Analysis' tab. I also added a drink coaster to the design using simple model techniques in 123D Design. You can choose another program like Tinkercad to create a template of a drink coaster. After scaling the model in MeshMixer, I merged the drink coaster with the 3D logo model. In MeshMixer, I created the 'positive' file. For the negative model, I used 123Design to subtract the file from a drink coaster and saved it as an STL file. Since the model had some issues even after repairing it in MeshMixer, I decided to export it into Netfabb Online Service, a free STL repairing service. This process almost perfectly repaired the model. After previewing the model in my slicer (something I advise you to do before printing), the preview looked great with perfect lines; so I could print it without any problems.
