Guitarstrap-mount (laser engraving)
thingiverse
I recently purchased an electric guitar, a Höfner Club Solid, and immediately recognized its potential as a creative tool to enhance my instrument with custom designs or add personal touches. To get started, I ordered some guitar straps online and brainstormed ideas for creating a strap with lyrics or my favorite band names. However, I was faced with the challenge of how to achieve high-quality engraving on the straps. To overcome this obstacle, I designed a mount that would allow me to easily attach and engrave the straps. The brackets are a work in progress, but they will eventually be reinforced for added strength. I encourage everyone to experiment with this design and show off their creations using the mount. Please note that when uploading the STL file to Cura or Snapmaker3D, it's essential to rotate the mount 90 degrees on the X-axis. Additionally, printing the bracket twice is necessary, and I will provide an updated STL file for a single-print solution in the future. When using the mount with the Snapmaker, position it along the X-axis for optimal results, as this allows the fan to cool the engraved surface more effectively.
