Guitarstrap lock - 8mm pin

I decided to add a locking device to my strap to prevent it from coming loose too easily, as I'm still new to playing the guitar and have been told that loose straps are often a common cause of initial guitar damage. Since my supplier didn't have any locks available at the time, I came up with a DIY solution and here's how I did it. So far, these makeshift locks seem to be working well, but I'll need to see how they hold up over time to determine their long-term effectiveness.
