Guitar wall mount

Guitar wall mount

I conceived a simple yet elegant guitar wall mount idea. I came across Mike-vom-Mars' expressive hand gestures online and adapted them as the foundation for my project. FreeCAD editing was necessary to enlarge the hands, ensuring they fit snugly around the 13cm+ width of my acoustic bass guitar's body and neck. The initial picture depicts the FreeCAD design using a guitar model from GrabCAD as a reference. Subsequent images showcase the printed hands securely mounted on the wall in my home studio with and without the guitar in place, resulting in an incredibly nice overall appearance. Adding a beautiful wall painting behind the guitar would be a great finishing touch. The printing process took approximately 20 hours per hand at a speed setting of 65mm/sec on my printer. I have successfully printed the same set of hands at 50% scale to accommodate a soprano ukulele, with matching mounting holes that require small-headed screws for secure attachment.
