thingiverse
I've found that many parts don't fit perfectly when downloaded due to variations in printer temperatures, which affect PLA shrinkage. To ensure a better fit, I enlarge the measurements after accounting for PLA's shrinkage. Here are some guidelines to help you adjust your print settings: Print Log Shrink Sheet: 0.2-0.25% shrinkage is typical for most prints. When calculating part dimensions, keep in mind that PLA shrinks at different rates depending on temperature. For example: 1.34 mm + 0.268 mm = 1.608 mm (a common calculation) Similarly, 3.52 mm + 0.704 mm = 4.224 mm (another important measurement)
