These things are perfect for securing beadless strings like those found on a classical or flamenco guitar. They enable you to tie the strings off away from the bridge, saving yourself some dents and scratches. I wouldn't recommend PLA for this purpose. Nylon works exceptionally well, and ABS might also be suitable, although I haven't had the chance to test it yet. It's also best to go with 100% infill to prevent buzzing and cracking; printing a set of six is relatively quick and only requires around two cubic centimeters of filament anyway.
