Guitar Strap Hook and Dunlop Strap Lock Dock (Guitar strap hanger)
prusaprinters

As described in the summary. This is for hanging your guitar straps on the wall. Have more straps than guitars? Want to display your strap while keeping the guitar secure from the elements? This is for you. Works with the ~16mm x 51mm (2" x 5/8") 3m command strips. I've also put in versions that should work with wall anchor screws or screws with < 9mm by ~3mm head. Compact and as low profile as possible, it gives the appearance from a distance that your straps are plugged directly into the wall

V.ersions included:

Dunlop: This version works with Dunlop “Straplok” branded strap locks and includes a groove in the hole to catch the detents fairly securely.

Generic: This has a ~2mm hole with some relief cuts to accept a normal guitar strap button with a small screw. This version is for people who are not using any strap lock mechanism with their guitar straps. In the example I used a 2.5mm wide by 1cm or so electric guitar pickguard screw and it seems very solid, fit for purpose at least. Pictured far left in the example photo with the straps…

Both versions include a model with and without (flat back) a screw pocket. If you're using command strips I recommend using the flat back version as the screw pocket is fit in very close to other edges and you will likely find better results and faster print times with it.

Printing/prepping notes:

I printed mine at .05mm layer height, 3 walls and 5% infill (this is small enough that low infill is sufficient I think. With 3m command strips you could hang this either way I suppose, I wound up going opposite the way you would using a screw though.

Caveats:

This design presented as-is, with no warranty. I highly recommend mounting these well away from your expensive guitars, should the command strips fail or a toddler or pet get too interested they may come right back down (I've never had an issue with command strips, follow all manufacturer instructions if using them.) Feel free to remix for other types of strap lock systems, however I DO NOT recommend or support attempting to 3d print any actual guitar strap buttons out of this design or using it for any load bearing purpose :-)
