Your wife's guitar suffered damage on two sides, where the strings are wound. Two small plastic components couldn't handle the pressure and broke. To fix it, I removed them, measured their dimensions, and recreated them using OpenSCAD. Now her guitar is functional again, making it the perfect Christmas surprise. This project highlights the capabilities of a 3D printer!
