Guitar Radius Block 9,5 inches

Guitar Radius Block 9,5 inches

thingiverse

I redesigned this guitar fretboard radius block because the original model was far too wide. The radius is 9.5 inches, similar to that found on a modern Stratocaster. I included a version of just the bottom radius section so you can attach it to a piece of wood. This will save you a significant amount of print time and material. You can adjust the tool's length by modifying the Z height while printing (print the model with the short side facing downwards, naturally). After the print is complete, you can sand down the curved part slightly to achieve a flatter surface. Be sure to check your material shrinkage rates (usually between 0.5% and 2% depending on the filament type and brand) to get an accurate object and adjust X and Y accordingly. This will be a tall print, so consider using double-sided tape on your bed or maybe a raft if you have adhesion issues. The original uploader deserves our thanks for their contribution.
