A Pinterest-found gif showcases a well-designed automata; it was modeled using Solidworks 2016 and rendered with Simlab Composer 7 Mechanical Edition. Frames were edited in Virtualdub, then saved as AVI/X264 and BMP formats. The video was remuxed to MP4 using MyMP4BoxGui, while gifs were created with PhotoScape. IrfanView was used for render edits. Multiple file formats including 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB are available, with the latter two viewable on iOS and Android devices via the free Simlab Viewer app. The model is also accessible in Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 7, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, and ZIM formats.
