Guitar pedals as a standard use center negative DC power jacks. Since there are pedal power supplies with multiple DC jacks, you might end up with more power supply jacks than pedals. In that case, you have one or more power supply jacks floating around with an exposed +9v contact. If your jack contacts exposed grounded metal (like the nut of a 1/4" jack) you could short circuit your power supply. Best case scenario, the power supply cuts out (overcurrent protection). Worst case, fire. I had a few extra DC jacks, so until I get more pedals to fill them, I made some covers. The jacks don't cover all the way (2mm-ish? gap) but they will prevent DC jacks from shorting against something. I print with a brim cause i don't trust my printer to print flat, but if you don't have a problem with the bottom curling up you can print it however you normally do.
