Guitar Neck Section for Strength Training
thingiverse
An electric guitar section for practising left-hand strength and dexterity inspired by the exercises in the book: "Total Guitar Workout: Exercises for Speed, Strength & Stamina" by Luke Zeccin. Frets 3 to 10, requires 2x 42mm electric guitar locking nuts (used with the floyd rose tremolo system). May require drilling pilot holes for the screws. Both parts able to be printed flat and glued together, then screw the locking nuts on. Fit 6 strings tightly and practice away! Doesn't need tuning as this won't be "played", just getting used to pressing down on the various finger positions and switching positions etc. Can also be used for right-hand picking exercises by palm muting at the bottom nut for working on timings, string skipping, etc I printed with thick walls to make the frets solid as the rest of the model isn't subjected to any stresses.
