I'm eager to swap out the switches in my Guitar Hero World Tour strum bar with keyboard-friendly ones. Initially, I thought I could simply install them without any modifications, but upon closer inspection, I realized that wouldn't be possible. To overcome this hurdle, I took precise measurements and crafted a custom bracket to accommodate the new switches. The kailh bronze speed switches I purchased from novelkeys.xyz are 14MMx14MM in size, but the bracket's design allows for easy adaptation to other switch types. One side of the bracket features holes for male pin headers, making it a breeze to solder directly to the original circuit board. Additionally, there's a dedicated slot for the player LEDs, ensuring they're securely fastened and visible during gameplay.
