A mechanical frets conversion kit for Guitar Hero Les Paul controller. Tested on PS3 Les Paul, Wii Les Paul have smaller frets! This kit contains three printed parts: * Frets them self: in order for normal sized keyboard switches to fit the fret had to be designed like a keycap. * The fret mount (Red part): this is the part holding it all together. It mounts using the support cylinders in the neck mold. * Travel-stop part (Purple part): Optional/personal preference, this part prevents the fret from traveling further than necessary. Depending on the switches used this part may or may not be necessary. By default the kit is designed with a 1 mm preload on the switches, this movement is limited by the frets alignment pins. ## Installation Soldering and additional hardware is required. Recommended to thread the wires thru the fret mount before soldering. ## Travel stop Two models (A & B) and multiple sizes. You must print 4 of type A and 2 of type B if you intend to use the travel stops. ## Important This design is based on Kahil mechanical switches, other brands such as Cherry may require some filing. Test the switches and frets movement before installing.
