This was made for world tour guitar hero guitars. I used the templates to score and cut part of a plastic one way mirror for the top and bottom panels then glued in the second insert, after it dry's the first insert is pressure fit. The one way mirror is 1mm thick. The LED's go in last I used these https://a.co/d/8Kudu7a each button has two wired in series and all the buttons are wired in parallel. The wires get hot glued into the tracks on each button. The power is coming from a 9v battery in the neck.
