Guitar Footstool Basic
thingiverse
I'm building a basic footrest to support my leg while practicing guitar.\r\n\r\nDimensions: 5.3 x 9.8 x 3.5 inches (complete).\r\n\r\nI split this design because of the small printing bed size. You'll need to print off two identical *.stl files, each measuring 5.3 x 5.7 x 3.5 inches in size. For scale, I've placed my slipper on top in the image; it's a UK size 8.\r\n\r\nI designed it as a snug fit so no glue is required, but they do need to be tapped together firmly.\r\n\r\nMy printer's maximum print speed is 35 mm/s, and each side takes about 8 hours to print with a 0.3 mm layer height. You'll likely need around 250g of PLA, including supports and brim, to print both sides with the settings below.
