Guitar Clip Stand
thingiverse
I often lean my guitar up against the shelf next to my desk. After reading a horror story of someone's guitar neck snapping when it fell, I decided to make a clip to ensure mine didn't slide around. It's worth noting that my guitar isn't actually hanging from this clip. The clip is merely making sure the guitar doesn't slide to the side and fall. It's not as good as a real stand, but it's better than nothing. Use at your own risk. The clip is quite tight and doesn't move on my ikea bins. I'm using it for my Epiphone SG, and the opening of the arms is about 2". It fits my guitar quite nicely, but I've uploaded the .step and .f3d files if you need to make any modifications for your guitar. I suggest you print the clip with supports on it's side. This will make sure that the clip portion will remain strong and not snap.
