Guitar camera mount
thingiverse
A mounting bracket the lets your mount a camera phone to the neck of most guitars. Great for recording your picking movements up close and analysing problems with your technique. Inspired by Troy Grady's Magnet mount, I wanted to build a simplified and easier to make mount that anyone could make, but performed just as well. The neck bracket fits most 6 string guitar necks, but can be re-shaped with a heatgun or a hair dryer if you need to make it smaller or bigger. The phone bracket fits many common phone sizes, including most Samsung Galaxy phones and the latest iPhone 12. It can also be re-shaped, simply squeeze the part in the direction you want to shape it, heat it with a hair dryer for a few seconds until it goes soft, keep the tension on for a few seconds and then let it cool down for 2 minutes before using.
