Guitar Bushing Extractor

Guitar Bushing Extractor

I saw several videos and tutorials on making bushing extractors using Home Depot supplies, so I tried something different: printing it in a 3D printer myself. You only need to use one of the bridge posts to screw down on, and the bushing will slowly separate from the body of the guitar. I didn't have any problems with the bushings on my guitar: The outer diameter of the protruding top of the bushing is about 14.5mm, and the inner diameter of the extractor is 16mm. On any bushing that's 14.5mm or less will work. The diameter of the threaded part of the post is 8mm, and the upper hole is 8.5 mm, so any thread of 8mm or less will work. The head of the post should be as big as it can be to avoid cracking or breaking the extractor; the one I used is about 14mm.
