Guitar/bass pick (yet another..)
thingiverse
I stumbled upon a treasure trove of unique guitar picks here, but narrowing down my favorite was a real challenge. Still, I needed some practice with FreeCAD, so I designed one to fit my style perfectly. It took me three and a half attempts to get it just right, but the end result is truly satisfying. In the picture, you'll see the finished pick on the lower left corner, pointing towards progress. I know these picks aren't ideal for shredding through metal riffs, but I found them surprisingly useful when plucking slow, easy-going bass lines. The twist-striped design provides a comfortable grip with your thumb, making it less likely to slip mid-song. As a left-hander, I had to intentionally position the pick on my model to accommodate my playing style. If you're planning to print this for yourself as a right-handed player, consider mirroring the model to ensure the pick sits comfortably in your hand, oriented correctly for playing.
