myminifactory
This sculpture was originally part of Guillaume Du Vair's tomb in the chapel of Bernardins college in Paris. The bust is clearly inspired by a portrait executed by Franz II Pourbus, with the replica preserved in the painting department at the Louvre. This object is part of "Scan The World", a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory. Through this project, we're creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the world that anyone can access for free. Scan The World is an open-source community effort, and if you have interesting items nearby that you'd like to contribute, simply email stw@myminifactory.com to learn how you can get involved.
