thingiverse
Update as of September 29, 2018: A brand new version has been uploaded, complete with rounded corners and Hexnut-holes for effortless wrenchless mounting. This remix builds upon the guider from the geared Extruder, allowing you to effortlessly mount affordable filament runout sensors from China, such as this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3D-Printer-Parts-Material-Detection-Module-for-1-75mm-3-0mm-Filament-Detecting-Module-Monitor-Sensor/32858195223.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.537d4c4dWhPaoU directly onto the extruder. To do this, simply swap out the original guider for the new one and secure it with two M3x25 screws and two M3 Nylock-nuts. The openSCAD-file remains a quick and dirty production, only generating the guider at present. Future enhancements are planned to refine its design.
