Guidescope Thumb Screw Tips

Plastic tip protects telescope finish from metal bolts used to secure the scope firmly in place within guide rings. I misplaced one of the delrin tipped thumbscrews for my guidescope rings and needed some longer ones to hold a smaller scope. I didn't want to wait for new ones or pay their high price tag, so I purchased regular bolts at the local hardware store. These bolts are sized for 3/8" hex bolts, but you can adjust them according to your specific needs. The ones that came with my ADM scope rings were 3/8" - 24 threads per inch. I glued the tips onto the bolt after inserting it into the guide ring to prevent them from falling off.
