Guidescope adapter for iOptron CEM26 mount
thingiverse
The iOptron CEM26 telescope mount has the posibility to mount a guidescope to the mount itself instead of the telescope. They sell their own guidescope, but that has limited focal length (130mm). This adapter can be attached to the mount, using 1 M6 and 2 M3 screws. It will accomodate generic type guidescopes, like the SVBony SV106 that I'm using myself. For this purpose, two additional M8 holes were added to attach the guidescope firmly to the adapter. Beware of the length of the screws, the holes in the mount are 5 mm deep. CAUTION: the alignment screws of the SVBony guidescope are too long and will hit the mount during rotation. Please replace the 2 aligment screws that are closest to the mount, by standard M5 screws. To protect the guidescope surface, the screwcaps (schroefstopsM5) can be placed on the tip of these screws. NOTE: I've included the freecad files, to make adjustments for your brand/type of guidescope
