This model demonstrates how movable guide vanes in hydraulic turbines (excluding impulse) are controlled. The vanes manage the direction and quantity of water entering the turbine. The actuating system is also included in this simulation, but no motion study is required. To observe vane movement and flow direction, simply hold down the mouse on the pink actuator. Note that this model serves as an illustrative example only; it may not accurately represent real-world situations. As a large assembly file, it requires separate part files for loading. In the assembly loading window, navigate to the 'References' tab and specify the location of your saved part files.
