Printing a Wheel Without Ball Bearings Moving the axis of the wheel upward can make it easier to insert the filament from above. A 4mm hole is typically used for this purpose, but I used a 3mm screw instead. One alternative design doesn't have a pre-drilled hole for the wheel, allowing you more flexibility in its placement. However, a drill will be needed to create the hole if desired. This support does not currently include space for the filament end detector, which is planned to be added in an upcoming update.
