Inspired by the incredible art of Mo Mukhtar https://www.artstation.com/artwork/RYxAbO I decided to give it a try and design a 3D printable model kit to host your very own Asta'Vesa soldiers. This time I'm working solely on my own idea, creating a Librarian equivalent for the Asta'Vesa. These are among the most powerful astertes the Tau can field, and I couldn't imagine them not wanting to test these warriors and understand how they interact with warp powers. And perhaps psychic hoods and psychic focuses would be a dream come true for any Earth caste engineer. Ladies and gentlemen: meet the Librarian. They're not as close to the fan art as I'd like, but then again, they were designed to retain their character when being printed at 28 millimeter scale models. So I had to exaggerate some features and smooth out some details, using pre-existing model sculpts that I heavily modified. As always, please don't use this kit commercially.
