The name, Satelitte, was given by Mategot as a nod of respect and tribute to France's scientific progress following World War II. Rigitulle, a unique technique invented by the designer himself, enables bending and folding fabric like metal sheets into an oblong, distinctive pendant lamp shape. This style is reflected in five vibrant colour options for the lampshade, while a fully covered bulb surrounded by perforated metal emits a warm, atmospheric light that adds to a festive atmosphere.
