I initially took one look at the Electromagnet Base after spotting brand new screencaps from the Guardians of the Galaxy DVD and immediately rethought my initial assumption about the shape that the orb magnetizes down onto. It appears that this base is instead formed by three inward-facing prongs rather than a solid triangle. Instructions Cut out three corner piece models and assemble them together - guide holes are present so you can use pins to ensure they align perfectly. You'll also need to cut out and glue two halves of each flap model, with smooth sides facing outward. Secure the final part of the flap into place using M2 screws in the two holes provided, or alternatively snap it in place. Three lengths of 3mm metal rod are needed for this step - I purchased a set on Amazon at an affordable price. Cut the 3mm metal rod and insert it into one corner piece. Place the flap hinge over the rod, then cut it to the correct length before gluing on the other corner piece model.
