Guardian Robot Hackable - Remixes

A custom upgrade package for the versatile Guardian robot model is available. The first modification includes a redesigned bottom lid that offers easy access and unobstructed cable management to the leg joints. In place of a switch, this lid features three strategically placed mountpoints and cable holes. Additionally, a servo mounting bracket inspired by the Adafruit design has been incorporated, with unnecessary plastic components removed for improved functionality and reduced risk of compatibility issues with certain stepper motors. The second modification involves reconfiguring the head and body details to facilitate easier printing. These parts have been cut apart, rotated, and augmented with detachable legs that require removal after printing. This adaptation enables users to print the body and head in different materials than the details, allowing for separate painting and customization options. The creator is utilizing translucent PLA for the body and head while using non-translucent details. The third modification focuses on enhancing the leg segments by fusing them together for improved bed adhesion and structural integrity. A weakened part that tended to break during assembly in PLA segments has been reinforced, resulting in slightly restricted movement that prevents the legs from separating easily. To assemble these modified segments, users will need hot water and a sense of urgency. Note: The creator has yet to test the body details and has not included them in this upgrade package.
