Check out my 3D-printed Chinese guardian lion model! As part of the "Capture Your Town" Challenge, I scanned this impressive statue that stands watch over my grandparents' house in Rochester, Michigan. Using 123D Catch, Netfabb, and Meshmixer, I cleaned up the design for a detailed final product. Learn more about the history of these mythical protectors from Wikipedia! Feel free to use the provided files to print your own lion with various settings, just remember that extreme angles may require support. Here's how I printed mine: .2mm layer height, 150mm/s accelerated, 4% infill, 1 shell, no support/raft.
