Guard Slinger (pellet/rubber band shooter)

Guard Slinger (pellet/rubber band shooter)

cults3d

This slingshot has finger holes for protection, plus an extra angled protective guard for even more safety. If you're not ready to shoot one, there are two better options: use the classic pellet launcher first or scale it down to a rubber band gun. The reason is that it takes practice to learn how to do this right and it's safest with someone who knows what they're doing. If you're squeamish or physically struggle while shooting, this might not be for you - it requires focus and coordination to line up the shot just right. You should use star-shaped pellets with this launcher, which aren't included in the guard slinger package but are available separately. This isn't a toy and isn't considered a weapon by definition, but we include warnings about misuse and proper handling for your education. To shoot, you need to hook up a size 117B rubber band to the front of the launcher, grip the pellet on the elastic, then stretch the rubber band before releasing it. The key is to hold the grip just right. Disclaimer: The designer and publisher aren't responsible for any misuse, which we condemn in all cases. If you're going to print this design, you'll be the manufacturer - that means you have responsibilities too. Before printing or possessing a 3D-printed copy of this launcher, check your local laws to see if it's something that's allowed in your area. By downloading, saving, or sharing these designs, you agree to our disclaimers and hold us harmless for any negligence or misuse. It's everyone's responsibility to only use these if they're legally allowed to, so if you can't handle this, then you're not ready yet. Make no mistake - this can be very dangerous if misused. That's why we include warnings, but follow the guidelines and it'll be safe. If you shoot someone inappropriately, you could cause serious injury like loss of sight. We don't tolerate those who use this in an irresponsible way, including negligence or improper conduct. We only support responsible owners. The only time this should be used as force is when people are threatening public safety and respect others' property - but even then, it's best to follow all laws and regulations and have a backstop when needed. Wear safety gear like safety glasses, check your surroundings, and don't shoot towards crowds or people unless it's in a controlled war game with proper safety gear and consent from all players. Also, don't shoot people except in established and controlled war games where everyone has signed off on the rules and is using soft rubber.
