Her structure is very interesting, because it has a massive keep as central body, projected like a hospital for the knights of Santiago and the Temple, when they were injured or ill. The wall is square in plan, with towers at the corners, of reduced size compared to the Keep Tower. The shield above the entrance belongs to Cardinal Silíceo, and it is from the 16th century. The large windows of the tower are from that time, when the Noble Maidens' College of Toledo was established here. On the outside we can still observe remains of corrals and auxiliary dependencies, as well as the remains of a chapel built in the 18th century.
