GU5.3 / MR16 mini Lamp A sleek lamp designed for LED bulbs. Printing it in ABS or PET is essential, as PLA will melt even with the heat from an LED bulb. Mount a GU5.3/MR16 socket to the body, then solder wires and attach the top cap securely. I use Osram's 8W MR16 LED Star bulb with a 36° beam angle, and this lampshade is compatible with it. It works seamlessly with my Universal arm for microphone/lamp. This lamp is designed specifically for use with 12V LED bulbs; using halogen bulbs will likely melt the lamp badly. Use this project at your own risk! What you need: - 2 M3 screws with nuts to secure the socket to the body - 1 M4x25 screw with nut The lamp is compatible with my Universal arm for microphone/lamp (Thingiverse: 1304304). Please send me pictures if you make one. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Rebel 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25% Notes: Print in ABS or PET; PLA won't do!
