GU10 Socket Adapter/Extension I created this adapter because the replacement lights for my lamps are extremely expensive and come in a special size. No standard GU10 light fits into the lamp socket. One original light costs about €25, while replacement LEDs cost just €3 per unit. The two holes need to be drilled through (2.5mm drill) - therefore, no support is needed (which would be difficult to remove). You'll also need 2x M3x10 screws. Instructions: 1. Print 2. Drill through the holes using a 2.5mm drill 3. Insert the GU10 socket light; it fits very tightly - insert and remove a few times to ensure proper fitment 4. Screw in the 2x M3x10 screws WARNING! Use at your own risk! Only use this adapter with light bulbs/spots that won't get hot and don't draw high current. I've used them successfully with 3.5W LED spots.
