Using my eGPU with a GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card, I aimed to harness its power on my desktop machine. Unfortunately, the accompanying fan was too bulky and couldn't spin freely due to the motherboard components blocking its path. To find a solution, I devised this custom replacement fan mount. The new design positions the fan about 1.5cm higher than the original black plastic mounting bracket that came with the card, effectively clearing the obstruction and solving the problem.
