I've used the design ezeckner shared for a while now, and I like it. However, I clearly go to the drive thru more often than ezeckner, and I started having issues only having the one cup holder.

Design Goal

The idea was to extend the length of the model, remove a couple of the organizer spots as I don't use them, and add a second cup holder.

I simple loaded the model into TinkerCAD, used a couple cylinders and whatnot to get a vague idea of the size of the cutouts I wanted to keep, and filled in everything. I doubled that model to get the extended length, ran out to my car to measure the gap between the front and back holders, did a bit more duplicating and goofing with it to get a copy of the cutouts for them, and placed another set in the front so the extra length would actually work. Added two cup holders, a phone and wallet holder, and another for my sunglasses.

Note

Since this is quite large, it's a long... long print, and requires a fairly large print bed. My Prusa i3 MK3S fits it just barely, and I think a 200mm x 200mm bed might fit it if you spin it 45 degrees. Cutting it half may work, too.

Print instructions

Category: Automotive Summary

I've used the design ezeckner shared for a while now, and I like it. PLA would probably be safe in much cooler climates.

I printed with 3 perimeters, and grid infill at 15%, to help it just be sturdier. Also, Gyroid infill is a mess with PET-G on my printer. Your mileage may vary there.
