GT2560 Universal Case
thingiverse
I highly recommend the GT2560 board for building your own printer, as it's extremely compact, well-integrated and reasonably priced. It also supports a wide range of needs and features an excellent layout. As a result, I decided to design a universal housing that can accommodate the board, a graphical smart controller and is easy to print. I also made sure that board setup and installation are as straightforward as possible by using single plates that can be removed individually for optimal access to the board's components. Additionally, I chose to use an external power supply to maximize flexibility. The current design is optimized for RepRap printers without heated beds, but you can easily add a heated bed - just ensure your power supply is powerful enough. Here are the parts you'll need: - GT2560 controller board - Full Graphic Smart Controller (RepRapDiscount) - 12V/10A external power supply - 12V 60mm Fan (e.g Noise Blocker XR2) - D-Sub 15 & D-Sub25 connector - Power Switch (DS 059 SW) - DC panel jack (e.g. DC-EBU 072339) - 4x 3/10mm screws - 14x 3/10mm countersunk screws (10mm) - 4x 3mm nuts (for the fan) - 3 cable ties - And of course, the printed parts for this project Assembly: Please refer to Instructions.pdf.
