I upgraded my geeetech aluminum sanguinololu driver board after it bit the dust, opting for a GT2560 to gain dual extruder support and touch capabilities. To keep things simple, I crafted a new case that slots seamlessly into the original sanguinololu location. The design cleverly repurposes the 40mm fan originally situated above the driver board to pull air through the case from bottom to top. I also recycled the mounting screws and spacers to ensure tidy cable management, routing the ribbon cables and extruder and fan wires behind the case before they exit on the bottom.
