InfoWant to give your SV06 all the printable upgrades but cannot find the toothed idlers? Now here you have themThis is for those that want to try to reduce VFAs, potentially caused by the 2mm interval of the toothed belt running on a smooth pulley. Be aware that this is chasing the 1% improvement in a budget printer, so your mileage will varyBased on the awesome SCAD by @droftarts, with an added inner ring for the bearings to rest against BOM (for 1 pulley)2x 694ZZ bearings (or any other with: 11mm OD, 4mm ID, 4mm width) InstructionsI suggest printing slow and max 0.2 layer height, concentric top and bottom infill, and PETG, to avoid cracking when you push the bearings in (you can probably get away with PLA though)Make sure your printer is well tuned. This printed piece cannot be more than 17.3mm diameter and 10.1mm wide, otherwise it will not rotate freely in the original X axis idler bracketRest the bearing on a hard and flat surface. Put this piece on top of it and push down as straight as you can. Rotate and repeat for the other bearingIf you want, you can try to push the bearings in even further, to make sure they are fully aligned. Just be carefull not to put too much force on the inner bearing ring, because you will damage itIf your bearings are not sealed, i recommend pushing some silicone grease in one side, while covering the other with a finger or somethingUnscrew the belt tensioner, then the screw for the original smooth idler, and then the belt. Inverse order with the new pulleyEnjoy!
